Strawberries

Apply organic fertilizers to
garden beds before sowing.
Net brassicas and check
regularly for cabbage white butterfly.
Trim and divide herbs.
Remove cloches from rhubarb.
Cover strawberries with cloches
to help produce an early crop (remove at times to allow insects to pollinate
flowers).
Feed and mulch fruit trees and
bushes.
Watch out for aphids on
cherries, apricots, peaches and nectarines.
Start spraying apples and pears
against scab and spray for coddling moth.
Net fruit trees to protect from
birds.
