Eggplant curry and Dahl dinner from the garden

I love this Chettiar aubergine curry and Tadak Dal, and what's more, I love how much of this meal is home grown and home made.

  1. No, and turmeric doesn't grow in our climate either, but I did grow the tomato and garlic in the dahl, plus most of the ingredients in the aubergine curry. I made the flat bread from scratch and cooked that in butter and home grown garlic. It was delicious! I haven't made that for dinner since my husband's birthday dinner last year... far too long ago!
