Bees in the passionfruit flowers

The passionfruit flowers are looking amazing. Unfortunately the pollination partner for our passionfruit didn't survive long after we planted it, so another season with just one vine will mean beautiful flowers but no fruit, no matter how hard the bees work. They are beautiful flowers though...

  1. I love passionfruit flowers! At least you'll get some nice photos :)

  2. You never know, a neighbour might be growing one.

  3. You're right Virginia, if we are lucky a neighbour could have a vine too.

We actually have 2 more passionfruit vines that we bought recently, although they are still small and not flowering yet. They were almost eaten all up by snails out the back, so we have them recovering with my husband's bonsais out in the front courtyard. Seeing the flowers again, we have now changed our plans and will put these new ones over the front pergola.
